This Week's Question: We are about to see a lot of posts & tweets about reader conventions, RT, BEA, ALA and many more are starting soon. Which one would you love to attend? Where and why?
I am attending ALA this summer in Chicago and I am over-the-moon excited about it! I cannot wait to go and am counting down the days. I will get to meet up with some old coworkers, connect with other librarians, authors and publishers.
I would absolutely love to attend BEA one of these years. It is on my bucket list I guess you can say but it is not in the budget to attend it this year (and probably not next year either). It seems what I have read about it from its website and what the other bloggers say, that it would be amazing to attend one of these days. :)
What about you--which of any would you attend? Are you attending ALA this year?
Happy Reading!
I've never been to any of them either, but would love to go to BEA in New Orleans next year! New follower :)

New Orleans would be cool to visit--I have never been there before. :) Thanks for following Jessica!

I won't be attending ALA unfortunately. It was in my state last year, but that was before I got into blogging and before I even knew there were these kind conventions. I hope you have fun this year at ALA in Chicago! New GFC Follower :)

ALA (including Midwinter and Annual) moves all over the place so I bet it will come near you again. If you get a chance, it is great to go. They do a Daily Exhibit pass too that makes it more affordable if it is near you.

ALA sounds so exciting, I'm really jealous! :P I won't be attending any conventions this year but hopefully next will work out :)

:) I am very fortunate to be attending. Hopefully you will be able to attend one next year.

There is usually a meet up at ALA for YA bloggers. I will most likely be attending. It will probably be Friday after the exhibit hall closes. Hopefully you can make it. I like ALA much better than BEA, BEA is much too crazy for me, although there is a special place for librarians where they have snacks and beverages. It was a life-saver when I attended. Thanks for stopping by my FFF.
ReplyDeleteLisaILJ @ I’ll Tumble for YA
I hope I can! I am staying with a friend, but I don't see why I couldn't make it to it. :) Thanks for letting me know.
DeleteThank you for stopping by. Happy Reading!
Hello!! I found your blog through the feature and follow post. It is a really good idea to get new followers although I'm new to this blogging world :D
ReplyDeleteI think I would choose to go to the bea because I have always wanted to go to New York :D I know pretty cliche but I have always had a dream of going there one day!

Welcome to Love.Life.Read and blogging in general. Nope, not cliche at all--I want to go back to NYC one of these years too as I was only there briefly at night.
