Book Blogger Confessions: Additional Reviewers

The lowdown:

"Book Blogger Confessions is a meme that posts the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month, where book bloggers "confess" and vent about topics that are unique to us. Feel free to share, vent and offer solutions. Just keep it respectful - no bashing authors or other bloggers! If you want to participate just grab our button and include it in your post with a link to either Midnyte Reader or For What It's Worth."

This Week's Prompt:  Have you added or considered adding additional reviewers to your blog? Why or why not? If you have, please share how you found the right match when bringing new people to your established blog. Did you encounter any problems?

Nope--that's an easy one for me this time around! LOL I started this blog for me to be able to connect with other readers, to share my love of reading and to record my thoughts whether they are read or not. So for me, Love.Life.Read will not be a multi-reviewer blog that I can envision ever.

I am working on another group blog that is being developed though it is not meant for reviews but connecting and networking with other bloggers. Stay tuned on it because once it is up and ready to go, I will be sure to share it with you all.

  1. Love how you already know what you want out of your blog. That's kind of what I thought too with my blog so it's great someone has the same thoughts too. And it's great to hear that you're working on group blog, good luck.

    1. Yup, but again, things could change. Who knows where the future will take us but answering the question where I am at today, nope is my answer. :) Happy Reading!

  3. I always thought I'd never have someone else review on my blog either :) but for me things changed and although it's not on a set schedule, I do have a associate reviewer who I love.

The group blog sounds interesting, can't wait to find out more!

    1. That's great Kat! I can only go off of where am I at right this moment so that's why I say nope. :)

  4. I wouldn't mind adding someone who I felt comfortable with. i once had a guest reviewer that would have been a great partner but she moved on to other things.

I'm picky though and I'd rather go it alone than add someone just for purpose of having posts up all the time.

    1. A guest reviewer would be a different ballgame I think than a regular partner. It has to be a good fit for both sides though I think for it work properly. :) Happy Reading Karen!

  5. I think it's great that you have a clear vision of this blog. And developing another blog, but with a different yet related interst is a great idea.

    1. I think it will give me the best of both worlds--the ability to keep this blog my only one then the other to have the collaborative effort and reward. :) Thanks for stopping by here today. Happy Reading!

  6. My first instinct is to say no, absolutely not! No co-bloggers for my blog! I've done the shared blog thing and eventually I just got fed up with it. It wasn't something I wanted to be a part of anymore! I think what I love best about my blog just being me is the control I have over it; I can decide what and how I want to blog. That being said, I wouldn't mind having guest bloggers every so often. It would make things easier in times when I'm super busy IRL!

    1. I would be open to the guest bloggers eventually--that would definitely help when things get crazy IRL. :)
