This Week's Question:
School is Out! What is your favorite summer reading book?
It is funny because I realize that while there is a book that I associate with reading during the holiday season, there is not a specific book I associate with the summer. There are types of books that I think fit well with the summer--road trips, beach books, etc.
What about you--are there specific titles or just types of books you associate with the summer? AND for those who are new or have not, could kindly follow me? On the right side is the Bloglovin' and GFC options. Thank you!

I don't really have a specific book that I like to read in the summer... but I feel like I'm more drawn to re-reads and lighter books. No heavy, dark, intense books for me! Those are definitely winter books. I especially want something pretty easy to get into and not too serious in the summer when I'm at the pool or beach... or just sitting in the back yard. There are SO many distractions there that I don't want something I have to stay pretty focused on!
ReplyDeleteThere is something to be said about snuggling in with a dark and intense book during the winter months. Perhaps we like our warmth and security while reading them? Definitely need something I can pick up and put down while at the same remember what was going on when I can get back to it. Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Reading!
DeleteI agree. I associate light romance books with summer, but I don't read one particular genre in summer, just what I feel like reading at the moment. :)

I checked my feed--it works for me. Did you plug it into a RSS Feed reader such as Feedly? It will pop up looking like gibberish until you put into a news aggregate.
