So this week is to focus on a setting but I actually wrote this as settings in general--so bare with me! I did not realize I wrote it differently until this evening and since I am on vacation this week, I am not going to re-write it. So, here are settings I typically enjoy:
2) Nantucket or coastal towns in general: I'm enjoying books set in coastal towns. I think I would like to live in a coastal community
3) Ireland: a longing to go home, my Irish ancestry is something I am proud of and really only starting to explore...so I love reading books set within Ireland

4) Paris/France: I had the pleasure to visit France during high school and would love the chance to travel back. Right now, I live vicariously through stories set within France
5) Road Trips: perhaps a slight cheat but I do love a great road trip novel
6) Small Town USA: what can I say, I am a fan of books set within a small town.
7) for Paranormal and Dystopian...I prefer the settings to be something known or recognized. So it does not mean that I won't be able to appreciate worlds that are much different than ours but it might take me a while to get into it.
8) England: present day England is a favorite setting too and it is on my bucket list as a place to visit
9) Professional Kitchens: be a bakery or a kitchen in a restaurant I enjoy books with a cooking/baking theme to it
10) Sports Venues/Practices/etc: what can I say--I like sports stories most of the time :)
So these are the settings that make me pick up the book and consider reading it. None of them are a sure bet but I will at least consider them most likely.

I was just nodding my head, agreeing with you with all of them, until I came across the last one. No sports for me, thank you very much! Haha, but I love this list :)
