Without a doubt, Bout of Books is one of my FAVORITE read-a-thons to participate in time after time. I look forward to doing it each and every time I am able and this is no exception.
What is Bout of Books you may ask? Taken directly from their site:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 12th and runs through Sunday, May 18th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. I am not a 100% certain on what I will be able to accomplish during the week so I will have to get back with you on what my goals are going to be but I am declaring I will participate so that is something at this point. :-D
Sound like fun? Well, I can tell you each and every time I have been able to participate (this will be my fourth time!), I have had a fantastic time!! Come join in the fun with me!!
