I feel like I could meet Dakota (minus being a Hollywood Star) and Chris at my favorite hangout in my hometown. Each character has flaws and nuances that make them human--not just a character in a book. I love how caring and smart Dakota is, but of course, he cannot let his public perception suffer because of this. Chris is completely brave and insane to keep up multiple "personas" during this book.
Despite this being my first book of hers and this being the third in a series, I never felt lost or confused with the story. The secondary characters are just as likable (especially Dakota's brother and sister-in-law we meet at the beginning of the book), I am itching to go back and read the rest of the series. If you are looking for a book to get lost in, I cannot recommend this book enough.

My Thoughts on The Wedding Band:
This is my first Cara Connelly book, however it won't be my last! Ms. Connelly has written such an amusing story that I could note help but laugh out loud and have a silly grin on my face while reading it. Her writing is so smooth it is easy to get lost in--so much so I spent a pleasant evening reading away not to realize several hours had past.I feel like I could meet Dakota (minus being a Hollywood Star) and Chris at my favorite hangout in my hometown.
